Dear Beans,

Oh, how life has changed, you're curled in your bed, and I'm reminded of just how much you mean to me. You've been a constant companion and faithful friend for so many years. In your own way, you're a source of comfort for me through both good times and bad. Your years are showing, grayed, and slowing down - how bittersweet. I'm so grateful for your unwavering love and patience, but I also know that our dynamic has shifted. While I'm excited for this new chapter, I know our time together as it was has come to a close, and with that, our new normal has settled in, for better or for worse.

I promise always to cherish the memories we've shared, the new ones in the making, and love you just as much as always, my dear old friend.
